On our way to retrieve the car from the Spring Street car park before heading to Westwood Memorial Park, we walked down the steps alongside Angels Flight.
The top of the Funecula railway is on the Plaza outside our hotel and takes you down to and up from Hill Street, avoiding the rather steep hills, or lengthy set of steps that run alongside
On our way back from Westwood, as time was of the essence before our next rendezvous, we took Angels Flight back up to the hotel. This 60 second wonder is a godsend when you want to save energy and leg muscle used in climbing the steep hill.Worth every cent of the $1 bill handed over the cashier at the top.
Minty loved the irony of an advertising banner in the Angels Flight car for the BOSCH TV Series which is shown on Amazon Prime.
The series is based on the Harry Bosch novels by Michael Connolly, one of which was called Angels Flight!
